What We Do
We offer specialist advice, information, casework, advocacy, weekly free counselling and group art therapy, as well as self-help support services in several community languages. We offer safe temporary accommodation in our refuge for women and children fleeing domestic violence. We signpost women for immigration advice and support, so that their legal status does not remain a tool for abusers to use against them. We have weekly children's activities from 8 years to 19, promoting confidence and building self esteem of black and minority ethnic children. We attend monthly forums and meetings to promote our work and raise the public awareness of the plight of women and children in difficult circumstances.
